# Terms of use

Effective date: September 29, 2026. These terms are an agreement between you and Cloudtifact for using the website, the web app, the command-line tool and the iOS app. By using Cloudtifact you agree to them.

## Your account

You must be at least 13 (16 in the EEA and UK) and able to agree to these terms. Keep your sign-in and access tokens safe: you're responsible for what's done with your account, including by agents and tools you let act for you. If you use Cloudtifact for an organization, you agree for it.

## Your content

What you create stays yours. You give Cloudtifact permission to store, copy, show and send it only as needed to run the service: for example to host a page, show a message to the people in a room, or send a request to the AI when someone asks it. You're responsible for having the right to share what you upload.

## Acceptable use

We have zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive users. Don't post, publish or send:

- **Abuse.** Harassment, bullying, threats, hate speech, or content that sexualizes or endangers children.
- **Objectionable content.** Sexually explicit material, gratuitous violence, or content promoting self-harm or terrorism.
- **Illegal or deceptive content.** Anything illegal, infringing, fraudulent, phishing, malware, or impersonating someone else.
- **Attacks on the service.** Spam, scraping other people's data, getting around plan limits or access controls, or overloading the service.

## Reporting and blocking

You can report any message and block any user from inside the app. Blocking someone hides their messages from you. You can also report content or users to [support@cloudtifact.com](mailto:support@cloudtifact.com).

We review reports within 24 hours. If content breaks these terms we remove it, and we suspend or remove the account of the user who posted it.

## AI output

Answers, suggestions and apps from the AI are generated automatically and can be wrong, incomplete or inappropriate. Check them before you rely on them. They aren't professional advice. You're responsible for what you accept into a doc or publish.

## Plans and payment

Paid plans are billed in advance through our payment processor and renew until canceled. You can cancel any time; the plan runs to the end of the period already paid for.

## Ending your use

You can stop using Cloudtifact and [delete your account](/privacy#delete) at any time. We may suspend or end your access, and remove content, if you break these terms, if the law requires it, or to protect other users or the service. Where we reasonably can, we'll tell you first.

## No warranty, limited liability

Cloudtifact is provided as is and as available, without warranties of any kind, including fitness for a particular purpose, availability, or that it's free of errors. Keep your own copies of anything important. To the extent the law allows, Cloudtifact is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost data or lost profits, and its total liability is limited to what you paid in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing here limits rights you have under consumer law that can't be waived.

## Governing law and changes

These terms are governed by the laws of [GOVERNING LAW]. If we change them we'll update the effective date above, and tell you before a significant change takes effect. If you keep using Cloudtifact after that, the new terms apply.
