Plans and billing
What each plan includes, how limits are counted, and how payments work.
Plans belong to a workspace. Every workspace starts on Free.

Guests are free on every plan.
How limits are counted
- Seats, rooms and live apps count what exists now. Remove a member, delete a room or pause an app and the space frees up straight away.
- AI messages and builds count per calendar month and refill at the start of the next one.
When a limit is reached, Cloudtifact says so where it happens (creating a room, going live, asking the AI) and points admins to Billing.
Paying
Owners and admins upgrade from Workspace → Billing. Payments go through Autumn, which uses Stripe for the card. Your sign-in is separate: Clerk handles it and has nothing to do with billing. Manage billing opens the customer portal for the card, invoices and cancelling. A plan that lapses falls back to Free's limits; nothing is deleted.
