Rooms
A chat, a shared document and an AI in one place, for one topic.
A room is where a topic gets worked out. It has three parts, side by side:
- Chat, for the back and forth.
- The document, a set of pages everyone edits at the same time (blocks, headings, lists, tables). Edits sync live, and every checkpoint is kept as a version you can go back to.
- The AI, which reads the chat, the document and any files you add as sources. Mention
@aiin chat, or start a message with/askor/summarize, to ask for something. It proposes changes to the document as suggestions that anyone with edit access can accept or reject. With AI suggestions on, it may also offer one suggestion after a change.
Who can do what

Workspace owners and admins manage every room in the workspace; workspace members can edit. People added to a single room are guests: they only see that room, and they don't take a seat.
Link access lets anyone signed in who opens the room's link join it as a viewer, commenter or editor. It's off by default.
Sources
Upload files for the AI to study: chat exports, PDFs, spreadsheets. They're kept private to the room and never served from a public address. Hide a file from the AI without deleting it.
